Our Puppy’s First Groom is the most important groom your puppy will ever have, it sets them up for a lifetime of calm, confident grooming. We introduce everything gently with one-on-one handling, keeping it positive, slow and reassuring.

Frequency:

We can discuss this after your Puppy’s first grooming appointment, but generally we would recommend coming back for your second Puppy’s groom two weeks after the inital appointment.

What’s included (staged approach/ over two sessions):

• Warm bath wash (gentle products suited to puppy skin)

• Towel dry + gentle blow-dry introduction

• Gentle brush and light tidy (only what your puppy is comfortable with)

• Nails trimmed

• Ears cleaned

• Plenty of cuddles, breaks and positive handling throughout

Best for:
Puppies who are new to grooming and need a calm, supportive first experience — building confidence with handling, the bath, the dryer, and being on the grooming table.

Vaccination requirement (important):
Puppies must be fully vaccinated to attend. We recommend starting grooming as soon as possible once fully vaccinated.

Setting your pup up for success:
For the best long-term results, we suggest 2–3 Puppy Grooms before your puppy’s first Full or Style Groom. This helps them learn the routine gradually making future grooms smoother, safer, and much less stressful.
